Step 2 Visit to Clinic
Step 3 Set up a treatment program (Fill out to the chart , interview, pulse diagnosis, abdominal diagnosis , back diagnosis , neck diagnosis)
Step 4 Start acupuncture and moxibustion treatment
The treatment method of our clinic is three stages.
Treatment time will be about 45min to 1hour (depend on person and
condition)
1 We will treat the place (Root treatment method)
which causes the patient's condition. We will Find things that impede the healing power of the body. Roots treatment to regain the function of natural healing power that human beings originally
have.
If symptoms disappear by roots treatment it may not need to treat symptoms.
2 After that,if patient need the treatment for any kind of symptoms. we will treat the treatment (Symptomatic treatment method) to improve symptoms such as pain, stiff, numbness, dullness, discomfort etc.
3 Explanation of medical condition, explanation of method for early recovery such as
lifestyle and exercise therapy, explanation of treatment period and number.
Introduction of treatment equipment used at our clinic
We will combine the following techniques to optimally combine the individual conditions.
Acupuncture needle
Everyone is worried that it may hurt to tighten but acupuncture needle is completely different in
thickness from injection burr. In our clinic , we will use elasticity (about the thickness of the hair) of 0.10 mm - 0.20mm in most cases. Although it can not be said that there is no pain at
all, it is about the degree of being bitten by a mosquito.
Moxa(moxibustion)
Point moxa is a hyperthermia therapy that puts things made up of moxa about half the size of rice
grains on an acupuncture point.
In that case, you do not have to worry about burns because it paints on ointment to prevent burns called Shiunko ointment and puts moxa over it.
The purpose of point moxibustion is to be able to stimulate key points with pinpoint. If there is a symptom accompanied by cold in the place. and where you feel cold, there is further effect by adding moxa.
It is also very effective for people with chronic symptoms and weak body energy (kyo-sho).
Warm
moxa
Warm moxibustion is mainly used to take cold of the stomach. Especially, those with chronic
symptoms often have cold of the stomach behind them, so we will do umbilical salt moxibustion for improvement.
Moxibustion head needle(kyutoshin)
I use moxa head acupuncture by putting mushiness on the upper part of the needle.
Childhood acupuncture
Childhood acupuncture is about non stabbing used for children.
Skin needle acupuncture
Skin needle acupuncture is used to encourage sustained effect on acupoints which are considered to
be particularly important after treatment.
Kinesiology tape
Kinesiology tape is used for acute muscle symptoms and sports injuries.
Electronic warm moxa device
The electronic warm moxa device used in our clinic warms needle and its surroundings by radiating
far infrared rays therefrom by applying electricity to the special ceramics.
TDP
lamp
The TDP lamp also radiates far-infrared radiation and warms the body. When wishing to apply
hyperthermia over a wide range. When placing the needle acupuncture and placing it, place this lamp from above.
Introduce some of the diagnosis that we are doing at this clinic.
Self diagnosis and prevention of problems with tonsils.
Palpation point
Located beneath and behind the bone behind the ear.(This point called Tenyu in japanese)
Push this point with your finger. if you feel pain,a sense of strain or hard section on this point , it can signal a weakness in your tonsils.
Your tonsils are located in the area around your throat. It is what nay be called the "gatekeeper"
Various bacteria and viruses enter your body when you breath or consume food and drink. The role of "gatekeeper" is to block such unwanted intruders. But if your resistance level is down as a result of excessive stress, excessive fatigue , lack of sleep , or heavy drinking and eating, these intruders can enter your body easily.
Many of the common problems such as chronic fatigue , inflammation of the tendons and ligaments, tennis elbow , lower back pain , allergies ,and all low immune symptoms( cold ,cough, sore throat ,etc) please try the following preventive measures should be taken on a regular basis:
1, Rinse your mouth
The best mixture for a rinse is 15drops of liquid echinacea(available at health food store) and a dash of sea salt in half cup of warm water.
2, Apply pressure on the Tenyo palpation point so that feels good. Continue pressing until the pain disappear,or the tension seems to have eased.
3, Have a good good amount of sleep.
Self diagnosis and prevention of oketsu(blood congestion)
Palpitation point (called Daiko in Japanese) located
approx. 5 cm to the left and 5 cm below your belly button. (seediagram at right) Place the index,
middle andring fingers of your right handon this point. Place your left hand on top of your right and
slowly apply firm pressure. If you feel pain or can feel a hard spot, you may have oketsu blood. If
you are not sure, do the same thing on the same point on your right side and compare. In Eastern medicine, this impure oketsu blood is considered to be of great importance.
Oketsu blood means the blood is stagnant or has accumulated.
Do you know how blood moves in your body?
The blood carries oxygen and nutrients essential to the body's survival to all parts of the body.
It also removes waste material that the body no longer requires and fights invaders like bacteria and viruses that come from outside of the body.
In addition, the blood performs many functions such as adjusting body temperature and arresting of
bleeding. Using an analogy with our daily society,
the blood is in charge of transportation, sanitation and
policing.
Because of the blood's numerous functions, when it is stagnant in one part of the body,
it is important to this condition called oketsu blood.
The following are ailments that are regarded to be related to oketsu blood: gynecological
disorders.
asthma, circulatory organ diseases, urinary tract diseases, depression, chronic pain (lower back
pain, stiff shoulders, etc.). Vitiated blood
may be the cause of the above mentioned problems that have
past but have not improved and have chronic. Cause of developing oketsu blood include stress, menstrual abnormalities , unbalanced diet , surgery , child birth, blow or hit etc
Prevention methods
1) Avoid all types of junk food
sugar foods such as cake, chocolate, pop and juice. Foods such as these oxidize the
blood, increasing the viscosity of the blood (i.e., thickening of blood)
causing oketsu blood.
2) Take daily baths. Soak in baths that are not too hot for 10 to15 min. This helps reduce
stress,
a cause of oketsu blood; it also improves blood circulation. Baths are considered one of
the
secrets to Japanese longevity.
3) Do daily light exercises
such as stretching and walking.
(intense exercise such as running or aerobics can sometimes have opposite effect of causing oketsu
blood.)
4) massage the entire stomach area before going to bed.
Twisted body (body muscle inbarance)
Name of palpitation point: Taimyaku
Location of point: At the sides of your body between the pelvis and ribs (see
diagram)
First, lie down on your side with your body outstretched Place a pillow or cushion
under-
neath your side for better results. With the thumb of your hand that is on top, slowly apply strong
pressure to the Taimyaku point. If you feel pain, or something that feels like a rope in this spot or excessive ticklishness, it may indicate the development of a distortion in balance in your
body.
A strong reaction to the Taimyaku point indicatesa
inbalance in your entire body The Taimyaku point is
where three large muscles converge; this area is crucial for maintaining the body's baląnce and
posture. In the case of whiplash, But treatment for whiplash that does not ease the Taimyaku point cannot possibly lead to a complete recovery.
There are many people who may feel pain or a cramp during or after sports. If the pain
goes
away after two or three days of doing the sport, it is likely just adjust the balance in the
Taimyaku point.
Sports such as golf and baseball that twist one side of the body can cause a deterioration in body
balance. Any distortion or imbalance in the body is the root of all aliments. Stiff shoulders, lower
back pain, and headaches all have a great
influence on many internal diseases.
Prevention methods:
1. Continue light exercises such as walking and stretching on a daily basis. However, when playing
sports such as golf and baseball that require twisting one side of the body, spend extra time
stretching the side that is not used.
2. Apply shiatsu pressure on the Taimyaku area. Though it may be a little painful,
strong pres-
sure is more effective. Apply pressure for five to ten minutes until the pain or cramp has
sub-
sided. Distortion and imbalance in your body is the cause of many ailments and diseases. It
also
leads to spiritual and mental imbalance. It has been said that highly trained martial arts
Self-diagnosis

Muscle area to check:
SCM(neck area)
Location of muscles: see diagram1
With your right hand pinch
the left side and with your left hand the right side of this muscle.
Tension in the sympathetic nerve appears clearly in this
muscle. If you feel a pain or an unusual hardness (sometimes it becomes like a hard rope) when you pinch this area, there is a possibility that you have sympathetic nerve
tension.
Do you know about the workings of the autonomic
nerve?
As the words indicate, they are nerves that work
autonomously. The workings of the heart, digestive
absorption, perspiration, hormone secretion, as well as countless other functions are the
responsibility of the autonomic nerves. The
autonomic nerve regulates blood flow, internal organs,
etc.
by balancing the sympathetic nerve (excited) and the parasympathetic(relaxed)
nerve
People are constantly under various types of stress. Those who are continuously under stress for
long periods of time (overworked businessmen,
large loan payments, unhappy relationships, bullying) have a
tendency to overwork the sym-
pathetic nerve (excited)making it a chronic condition
If the sympathetic nerve tension condition continues, blood vessels begin to contract, inhibiting
blood flow as well as causing anxiety, headaches, insomnia, menstrual irregularities
constipation and other ailments.
Under normal circumstances, the sympathetic nerve(excited) is active when you losing things
such as sports or work; during rest time, especially at night, the parasympathetic nerve takes over automatically. However, if the sympathetic nerve is
dominant for a long period of time, the
exchange between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves becomes difficult.
Prevention
Methods
1. Apply shiatsu pressure on the point at the base of your middle foot on the back (Diagram
2)
and the point above your
nose where your eyebrows begin(Diagram 3). These points have
the effect of calming the sympathetic nerve.
2. Before going to bed,
practice abdominal breathing. Take deep breaths, filling up your abdo-
men about 10times. This simple exercise will ease the
exchange of the sympathetic nerve. New-
born babies all breathe from the abdomern
3. Take baths regularly, preferably every night. Soak in water that is not too hot for 10 to
15minutes. This also limits the excited condition of the sympa-
thetic nerve. If the exchange of the
autonomic nerve is functioning properly, the body is not something that is susceptible to
illness.
